Chicago Fire is one of my favorite shows, and after watching Miss Brown on the show with her very serious look that she gave to the fire fighters whenever they tried her, I found to be truly an adorable person and a wonderful actress. I am shocked and saddened that Connie and Dushon have left us. She was a role model for other secretaries across the country in the way she kept that firehouse running smoothly and fiercely protected her Chief from the mundane antics and petty distractions that so often threaten the stability of a workplace. I will miss her presence and offer my condolences to her family and the cast and crew at Chicago Fire. Hers is a life cut way too short. Her spirit and memories will live on. I think of the kids she helped as a volunteer and hope they can look up to her as a role model to do better in their lives.
