Dear John, Shannon, Dallas, Mark and family,

I only heard on the news yesterday and my heart is breaking. I cannot fathom your pain and loss. I am deeply sorry. You are in my prayers.

I have not seen Dusty for about 2 1/2 years. He stole my heart when he was just a tiny baby. My daughter and I were sharing some of our memories today. She reminded me of the time she fed breakfast to JJ, Dusty and her own little brother and how particularly messy they were one morning yet, who could be upset when staring down at all those little smiles and freckles! Oh Dusty, I'll forever be reminded of you and our talks when ever I see a sweet little face of freckles.

I will cherish the memories Dusty has left behind and take comfort knowing he is in the hands of his creator.

You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I look back, with great fondness, and through photos, on many memories with JJ, Dusty, Jessi and me. He was an amazing young man, and will be missed by so many. I only wish I could have known the excellent man he had become. May God bless each of you and help you during this time of great struggle.
