Earl Vernon Castle Sr.

Earl Castle Obituary

June 13, 1918-January 28, 2008. Vernon as he was known, 89, beloved husband and father, passed on with his family by his side. Vernon is survived by his wife, Eleanor Frances Castle and 3 Sons, Earl Vernon Castle Jr. of Virginia, Michael Edward Castle, & Kenneth Lewis Castle, both of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Grandchildren Amber, Jesse, Jessica, Tessa, John, Kenny, David, Steven and Great Grandchildren Ryan, Emma, Tylor, Faith and Bradley. Earl Vernon was a World War II decorated veteran, Purple Heart Recipient and served in the efforts of cleaning up the tragedies of the concentration camps during Hitler's rule. Earl retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 30 years of service. Earl lived an honorable and long life and was very happily married to his wife, Eleanor, for 53 years this year. A memorial service is scheduled at 10:00a.m. February 2nd, 2008 at Cappadonna's Funeral Home.
