Earll "Nik" Nikkel, Jr.
October 27, 1938 September 6, 2017
Nik was born October 27, 1938 to Earll and Florence Nikkel in Denver, Colorado, and died September 6, 2017 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Nik proudly served in the Marines and graduated from Georgetown University.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; daughter, Shelagh; sons, John, Dean, and Matt Petersen; sisters, Florence McGarry and Catherine Orme; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
Nik was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Ann Zepp.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Nik's honor be given to Biden Cancer Initiative, P.O. Box 14440, Washington D.C., 20044, or the Pikes Peak Hospice Foundation.
Family and friends are invited to attend a reception, 2:00PM, Friday, October 6, 2017 at the Satellite Hotel, 411 Lakewood Circle, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80910. RSVP at [email protected].
