Eddie Rucker Obituary

To the family of Ed Rucker,
I would like to extend my sincerest condolences at the passing of Ed and let you know how much he will be missed.

Although I never met Ed in person, he and I were long time contacts (and buddies) through the MMS system and he always had time to help me with my work problems no matter how small or large.

I am so saddened to hear that he has left this world before he got to enjoy his well earned retirement, and I will miss his easy ways and calm voice. God's blessings on all of you during this difficult adjustment.

I was shocked and very saddened to hear that Ed had passed. He was truly a blessing at MMS. I new Ed for a long time, Ed was a good person and will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to you and your family.

Gloria and Family, I was shocked and saddened to hear of your lost of Ed, he was truly a blessing at MMS. I had met Ed almost a year ago and could tell he was a very nice and respected person by his peers which I could see why; you knew if Ed picked at you he must of consider you a friend, which I'm glad and proud to say he picked at me the first day I started here, December 22, 2008. Ed will be missed, and I will miss him when he talked about him and his Bar-B-Que buddy entering into the Bar-B-Que contest through-out the state. May God be with you and your Family, and be your strength and source during this time, and you find your peace and comfort in the Lord.

My heartfelt condolences go out to the child / children of Eddie whom I have never met and to his mother Ruth whom I have always known to be the strong and loving Matriarch of the Rucker Family. I will never forget Eddie and Stevie who were my big brothers growing up on the Westside.
