EDGAR "E. C., PETE" CLEMENS WAYLAND
April 19, 1936 November 17, 2019
EC was born in Saline, Kentucky, on April 19th, 1936, to Alfred and Linnie Wayland. EC, his parents, brother, Perry A. Wayland, and sister, Martha L. Harris, moved to CO Springs in 1946. There he married his wife, Peggy A. Wayland (Ryter), on July 12th, 1957. Edgar leaves behind 4 children; Cynthia L. Kendall, Larry D. Wayland, Christopher A. Wayland, and Linnie D. Simo. Also, 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. E.C. is proceeded in death by his first wife, Eddie I. Lowe, his current wife, Peggy A. Wayland, his parents, and twin brothers, Alvin B. and Alvie C. Wayland. Services held at Life Community Church of the Nazarene on December 7th, 2019, at 2:00 P.M. 800 Hackberry Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80911.
