I was a good friend of Edith Hightower Sewart and would love to hear the wonderful stories of childhood she would tell about she and twin sister Edna, She started out being a Friend of Aunt Ruth Gage, and find out also, she was related on my Dad's side of the family "DeWeese" She she was thrilled to hear this. I am doing a family tree, and would love to add aditional family members to it. So sad to hear.... Mary Jean

Edna was a wonderful lady. I remember when I was younger, she used to come and fill in as a "grandparent" during Grandparent's Day in grade school, being my real grandparents lived back in Minnesota. I also remember how for many many years she would send me a birthday card on my birthday. That would always be such a little treat for me and it always would amaze me how good her memory was. She will be greatly, greatly missed.

Edna was a precious, sweet friend. I know she was so ready to join Forrest and Edith in heaven, and I am grateful that she is there!

Edna was a inspiration to me on a daily basis and I will surely miss her. She was one of the few people I could talk to about issues and she fully understood their importance and would have wonderful insights to share. My condolences to you for I know how much you will grieve.
