Edna Marie Barden of Ellicott, Colorado was born February 6th, 1940 in Colorado Springs to Alvin R. & Gladys L. Simshauser. On October 31st, 1955 she married Gus Barden in Taos, New Mexico. She is survived by her husband of 68 years Gus, sons Steve Barden & Bret Barden, 2 grandsons, 5 great-grandchildren, one brother & one sister. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother & two sisters. Services will be held at Swan-Law Funeral Home, 501 N Cascade Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80903 on Monday, March 4th at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers please donate to Compassus Hospice Care.
