Ed started as a newspaper boy in the early 1950's. He worked for Castle Concrete starting in 1960 as a truck driver and in 1970 became an owner operator of Ed Cox Trucking. He hauled for many companies in the past 50 years. He lived here his whole life. He was born and passed at Memorial Hospital. There will be a memorial service at Souls Harbor Church, 1715 Fourth Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80907 on October 16, 2021 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers please make contributions to Souls Harbor Church.

It is almost a year since you left. We still need you really bad for your wisdom and advice. We miss you terribly and love you to pieces. Broken hearts won´t heal and the laughter is gone from our lives. Remembering the ornery hubby of life past.

I'm sorry to just be seeing this and missing the memorial service. Ed worked for my Dad and always had a smile and warm greeting for me when I would see him at the quarry. My sincere condolences to the Cox family, with fond memories of Ed.
