retiring in 1992. The family moved to scenic Southwestern VA, where his greatest joy
was spending time with family and reading the Bible. He and Sheila enjoyed music,
especially 70?s and 80?s love songs. Unable to travel, Eddie regularly phoned his
siblings and relatives. A highlight was the Thursday evening calls to paternal aunt,
Beulah Briggs, recently deceased on Feb. 11, at age 95.

Stone Gap, VA; Shannon Demory & Brian Laster of Duffield, VA; and Joshua Demory of

Eddie was a Pentecostal Christian who loved God with all his heart. Through his
website and online prayer group, "Gods Helpers", he ministered to the spiritual needs of
hundreds over a seven year period.
Cremation was at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, PIneville, KY. A private Memorial
Celebration is planned and will include Eddie's favorite song, "The Old Rugged Cross".
