Edwin Kelly Obituary

Edwin Kelly was born to Roy Murry Kelly and Mabel Armina Vandenbergh in Peyton, Colorado. He was the 4th of 5 siblings, Thelma Lamb, Gilbert Kelly, Hugh Kelly and Elsie King who all preceded him in death. He married Phyllis Paulson on September 2, 1950 in Calhan, Colorado. He was blessed with two daughters, Cheryl Ann (Charles) Boynton and Tami Sue (John) Christian. Also six grandsons, Jason, Joshua, Matthew and Ethan Boynton, Michael (EJ) and Kevin Christian. Also 4 great granddaughters, Crystal, Opal, Amethyst and Jaden Boynton who all survive him. He served his country in the Army during World War 2 in Luzon and the Philippine Islands. After returning home he ranched at Peyton later moving to Calhan to run the Calhan Cash Auction with his brother. He later moved to Colorado Springs, where he ran his own garage. He then got into real estate by buying, remodeling and renting properties in the Knob Hill area. This he continued until his sudden death. Ed will be loved, remembered and missed by his family and friends Memorial services will be held Friday, January 19, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Memorial Gardens.
