I reckon this is the same Egon Schottleutner. My father, Charles 'Bert" Ogle, an Air Force pilot, born in Denver in 1919, told me in about 1960 of Egon's skill of falling down on purpose just before catching pop flies. I have remembered his name ever since, and just now I googled him. I am sorry for your loss.

Perhaps old neighbors have not seen this. Too bad, as if they had there would be many, many stories of how much he added to the fun of our neighborhood in Rockrimmon. He and Lorrie always attended parties and also were fantastic hosts. Another quick memory is of Schotts riding his bike around the neighborhood and stopping to visit with people as he met them. A truly great man!
