Elaine Angelina Gallaher, 83 passed away peacefully on May 10, 2022. She is survived by loving husband David O. Gallaher; her children: David M. Gallaher and Frances Gallaher, Richard and Linda Gallaher, Cynthia Gallaher, and Stephanie and Joseph Skirka; grandchildren: David Stephen and Courtney Gallaher, Michael Gallaher, Katherine Gallaher, Jonathan Gallaher, Carrie and Ryan Tripp, Eugene Victor Rozgonyi and Laura Leonardo, Alexandra Rozgonyi, Christopher Skirka and Jayme Ward; Great grandchildren: Luke and Odin Tripp, and Eleanor Marie Gallaher. Also survived by sister-in-law Winnifred Gilbert and numerous nieces and nephews of the Costello, DeFelice, and Gilbert families. Preceded in death by parents Joseph and Josephine Costello, sister Evangeline Costello, brother Louis and wife Jean Costello. In-laws Fred and Catherine Gallaher, Mary Jo and Anthony DeFelice, Harold Gilbert, and granddaughter Angela Gallaher. Elaine was born March 29, 1939, in Brooklyn New York. In 1947 the family moved to Colorado Springs Colorado. She attended St. Mary's High School where she met her future husband, David. They were married June 14th,1958. After devoting many years to her family, she was employed by King Soopers for over 20 years where she made many friends. In 2014 Elaine and David moved to Denver Colorado to be close to their children. Elaine was devoted to her faith and family. We will honor and cherish her memory. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday June 1,2022, 11:00 am at Saint Patrick's Roman Catholic Church in Colorado Springs Colorado- 6455 Brook Park Drive, 80918. Memorials in Elaine's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, alzfdn.org or a charity of your choice.

Steve and I send our sympathy and love to Uncle David and our cousins. Aunt Elaine was a lovely person. I remember so fondly the morning chats with her when Mom and I stayed with them on our visits back to Colorado.
