Elaine Webster Obituary

Elaine J. Weissenfluh Webster, age 63, a resident of Yoder, Colorado, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2008 at her home surrounded by her family and is now in the loving care of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Elaine was born in Colorado Springs on October 21, 1944, a daughter of the late Clyde K. and Elma Kershner Weissenfluh. Elaine attended all 12 years of elementary and high school at Manitou Springs schools, graduating in 1962. Elaine and her husband, Dennis, raised their family on her grandparent's home place in Yoder, Colorado. She attended Antioch Community Church. She was a former volunteer for the Colorado Springs Police Department and the Miami - Yoder School. Elaine enjoyed crocheting, gardening and refinishing old furniture. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. Elaine is survived by her husband, Dennis R. Webster; they were married on March 31, 1963 in Colorado Springs, to this loving union two children were born, a son, Derrick (Denita) Webster of Salt Lake City, Utah, a daughter, Denise (Steve) Walsh of Yoder, Colorado; seven grandchildren, Blake (Tiffany) Webster, Brandi Webster, Krystal Webster, Kelsie Webster, Justin (Amanda) Walsh, Raeanna Walsh, Alisha Walsh and a great granddaughter, Grace Walsh. She is also survived by two brothers, Kenneth (Karen) Weissenfluh of Colorado City and Max (Jean) Weissenfluh of Chipita Park, and a host of other relatives and friends. At her request, cremation has taken place and private services are planned. The family requests that any memorial donations be made to the Antioch Community Church, 5855 Boone Road, Yoder, Colorado 80864.

Dennis and all family,
I am so sorry to learn of the loss of the presence of Elaine from your day to day lives. I will miss her greatly. What a great sense of humor and loving and caring lady Elaine has always been.
