Eldon Hager Obituary
Eldon Dee Hager
November 18,1937 - March 22, 2018
Eldon was born in Hutchinson KS to parents Charles and Lucile Hager, deceased. They moved to Dodge City KS where he met his wife Dixie of 62 years. They were high school sweethearts and married in 1955. Eldon is survived by Dixie, daughter Diane Fortner, grandsons Aidan Fortner, Mark Fortner, Justin Hager and J.D. Hager, and sister Fayra Eckley. His son Neil preceded him in death last August.
Eldon was a general contractor and had his own construction company, Hager Building CO, until he retired.
His hobbies were working in his shop, camping, and round dancing. He and Dixie were round dance instructors and cuers for their club Lariats, and cued for square dance clubs and festivals.
Eldon was such a kind, generous man; he will be missed.
The memorial service will be at the Chapel of Memories, 829 South Hancock Ave at 10 a.m. April 3, 2018
