Eleanor Schmitz Obituary
Eleanor is survived by five daughters, Judy Hummer (Leon), Jean Hawk (Pat), Patty Songer, Sally Cotner (Joseph Moya) and Tammy Schmitz. Eleanor leaves behind thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Eleanor was a very strong woman; her strength and perseverance to keep going was an inspiration to her whole family. She loved spending time with her family and her "BFF" Diane Lass and going to Las Vegas and was a Denver Broncos fan. She loved all animals big and small, especially her dog, Maggie.
Eleanor was a member of the Germania Club for 38 years. She was very sweet, funny, kind and giving. She had a magnetic personality that seemed to draw people to her no matter where she was. Everyone who met and knew her, adored her and her special smile.
A gathering for friends and family to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
