76, born 6 October 1932, Vienna, Austria, passed away 29 August 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband SFC Robert M. Gravelle U.S. Army (Retired) whom she married 27 June 1956, her parents Franz Mathias and Hermine Antonia (Fischer) Graf, brother Herman Graf, and sister Hermine (Graf) Eller. Survived by her sons MSG Robert (Bob) Michael Gravelle II U.S. Army (Retired), Dale Matthew Gravelle and daughter Dana Maria (Gravelle) Shadle; daughters-in-law Pamela Marie (Swartwood) Gravelle and Jane Marie (Nolan) Gravelle and son-in-law Charles Michael Shadle; grandchildren, Catherine Anne (Gravelle) Jones (Nathan), Robert Michael Gravelle III, Joseph Alexander Gravelle (Elizabeth), SRA Simon Matthew Gravelle U.S. Air Force, Kristina Marie Gravelle, Jennifer Michelle Gravelle, Elyse Morgan Gravelle, Brianne Marie Carter, Charles Randall Carter; great-grandchildren, Catelin Hannah Jones, Natelie Danielle Jones, Cullen Asher Jones, Titus Josef Gravelle, Reiley Aaron Gallardo, Nicholos Aleczander Gallardo. She spent many years enjoying her hobbies of reading, crocheting, knitting, gambling, and traveling especially during her husband's twenty year military career. The family will receive family and friends for visitation from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., 1 September 2009, and rosary to follow lead by grandson Joseph Gravelle at Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, 1730 E Fountain Boulevard. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., 2 September 2009 at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church, 1830 N Corona Street, Colorado Springs, 80905. The celebrants are Fathers Francis Maher and Gregory Golyzniak. Interment will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Reception will follow at the home of Dale and Jane Gravelle, 6985 Highland Vista Drive, Colorado Springs.
