Elinor Utzke Obituary

Utzke, Elinor June, age 93, of Colorado Springs, CO, passed away on 12/16/2010. One of nine children, she was born in Lone Rock, IA, to Charles and Edith Cox. She married Oscar Utzke in Austin, MN. They eventually settled in Cedar Rapids, IA, where Elinor worked many years for Collins Radio, retiring as an engineer's assistant. They spent their retirement years in North Port, FL, where they celebrated 66 years of marriage. Elinor moved to Colorado Springs in 2003. She is survived by two children, Richard (Suzanne) Utzke, Donna Herbach, two grandsons, Douglas (Patricia) Utzke and Geoffrey Herbach, two great-grandchildren, Leo and Mira Herbach, and one brother and many nieces and nephews. A Lutheran service will be held at Cedar Memorial in Cedar Rapids.
