"I cannot describe the loss that is felt by her classmates in the EMS community. She will truly be missed and the loss is still felt today. We will always remember you and the devotion you showed to the EMS program at Pikes Peak Community College. You are a great friend, classmate, and role model for us all."

It was fall. We were riding on a poker run. The air in Woodland Park was cold. You noticed I had forgotten my gloves. I was then a complete stranger to you and you approached me asking if I would like to wear your gloves. Only a rider could fully understand how uncomfortable cold hands can break a ride. You said you’d be OK for the rest of the ride. Who does this for a complete stranger? You do! You always looked out for everyone else. You were the first to help anyone, person or animal, in need. The Lord God has called you home. I feel so blessed that your path crossed mine here on earth. Please wrap your wings around your family and friends left here on earth as you would have wrapped your arms around us each time we meet. I love you my friend. [‘No weeping, no hurt or pain, no suffering; You hold me now, You hold me now. And no darkness, no sick or lame, no hiding; You hold me now, You hold me now. ~ Hillsong]

Although I only knew Elizabeth for a short time I quickly found out what a wonderful person she truly was. She always went out of her way to help me and keep me focused on my goals. Whenever I was stressed or worried she knew just what to say and I know she would have helped me out in any way she could have. I miss talking to her and I miss seeing her in class. I will never forget the way she helped me through this semester, Thank you Elizabeth.

My dear "guera" you know how much i missed you already. I was one of the lucky ones that had the privilege to know you, and to be one of your friends. I thank God for all the memories, all the moments that we shared together...I still can hear your laugh, I still can feel your love. You are in my mind and forever in my heart. I'll be a good girl to have the chance to meet you up there...I bet that when that will happen you already going to have all the heaven organized ?

Jesus has welcomed another Angel into Heaven....

I'm so sorry that she's gone...she was so young and vibrant. As her EMT instructor, she brought much joy to the class and along with her dedication to achieve her goal, she took over the organization of the class and kept everyone informed of what was coming up. She was a delight to know and will truly be missed.

I am overwhelmed by her death. I have beautiful memories of Elizabeth, I cannot believe it, I cannot accept it. She was my coworker at CPCD Head Start. Too young, too much going for her. I am so very sorry for the ones she leaves behind. Elizabeth God bless you. Carmen Temple
