ELIZABETH "BETTY" LORRAINE ELLIOTT
February 14, 1932 September 24. 2020

Betty has used up her earthly body and is now in company with the Lord and her new heavenly family. Betty was married to Jim Elliott for 42 years before his passing in 1994. After Jim retired from the Air Force, Betty and Jim were owners of Tempo Bowl and Lounge for 27 years (closed in 2002) where she enjoyed socializing with all the friends that visited and bowled there frequently. She managed the bookkeeping duties of the center and so much more. She enjoyed singing, her Manhattan's, baking cookies and interacting with her extensive family.
Betty had been a member of Divine Redeemer and St. Paul's Catholic parishes. Her faith was a large part of her life and prayed constantly for family, friends and anyone who she felt needed the Lord's intervention.
Originally from Syracuse NY, she was one of 7 children, who in turn have grown into a family of over 192. She is survived by 5 of her 8 children Betty (Mike) Faricy, Jude (Lee) Sacry, Jim DVM (Deb), Mark (Jodene) and Victor (Sigrid) and 19 Grandchildren and 25 Great Grandchildren. Matt, Mary and Michael beat her to the finish line. Betty welcomed many of her children's friends into the home but especially Vic's friends who were at her home so often that they are now like brothers to us all.
Special thanks to Mike and Betty Faricy who graciously invited Mom to live with them for many of her senior years. Their loving care is boundlessly appreciated and can never be repaid.
Due to Covid 19, there will be a private celebration of life held for family. A memorial contribution can be made to The Elliott Family Foundation at St. Mary's High School. Thank you all for your love and prayers.
