Elizabeth Panian Obituary

Elizabeth A. "Betty" Panian, age 91, a resident of Colorado Springs passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2007 at the Mt. St. Francis Health Care Center. She was a homemaker and a long time member of Divine Redeemer Parish. She volunteered at the Marian House Soup Kitchen and was active in the Stroke Club for many years. Elizabeth Anne Buller was born on May 25, 1915 in Santa Monica, California to the late John Joseph and Claire Margaret (Fearon) Buller. She married John W. Panian on March 2, 1944 in Ft. Lewis, Washington. John passed away on July 6, 2006. Betty is survived by her loving children: Pat (wife, Denice) Panian; two daughters: Sharon Panian of St. Louis and Therese (husband, Scott) White of Colorado Springs, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter: Maureen Paap and a son: Joseph Panian. Visitation will take place from 5:00 - 7:00 PM on Wednesday at the Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home. A Vigil Service will follow at 7:00 PM at the Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful' Chapel of Roses. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 25, 2007 at Divine Redeemer Catholic Church. Entombment will follow at the Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum. A reception will then follow at the White residence.
