My deepest condolences to Cookie's family and Cripple Creek friends; I know she had many. She loved Cripple Creek. Her birthday is this week, and I was double-checking her PO Box number online to mail her birthday card today. We spoke at Christmastime and exchanged cards each year and were both retired from Houston. I will miss her voice and our annual telephone reunions. Rest in peace, dear Friend.

Cookie was one of a kind - a unique individual. She had three male cousins (I am one), a brother and a sister. We were close when we were young but as we aged we grew apart. I will miss her. Only three of us remain now.
