Elizabeth Weaver Obituary

Elizabeth Ann (Curtis) Weaver, who was known by all as "Betty", was born on November 15, 1929 and went to be with the Lord on Sunday July 31, 2016.

Elizabeth is survived by her daughters Linda Blado and Nora Todd, sons-in-law; Al, John and Bud, eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Also, a sister, JoAnne Matthews and several nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth's husband William Weaver, son Kenneth Weaver, daughter Terry Oliver, parents Merle and Doris Curtis, and sister Carol Blair, preceded her in death.

Elizabeth resided in Cripple Creek and Divide. She later moved to Colorado Springs where she was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Palmer High School. Betty was a homemaker. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed shopping and Bingo.

A viewing will be held at Blunt Mortuary, 2229 W. Colorado Avenue on Friday,

August 12 from 5:00-7:00 PM. A Memorial Service will be held at Fellowship of the Rockies, 1625 S. 8th Street on Saturday, August 13 at 10:30 am. Fellowship will follow.

Betty Ann and I became friends in our high school days which continued through the years as our families shared many activities and sorrows as we and our children grew up as neighbors. Those were good and sad years.
