Dearest Shellhart Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I know this is beyond trying to have lost two precious family members, but during this great sadness, please try to take some comfort in knowing you have prayers and support coming from friends everywhere to help you through this.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. Although I wasn't lucky enough to have known Elli personally, being a close friend of both Mark and Kirk, I felt as though I'd known Elli quite well. The loss of either of these extra special people is tragic, but losing both in such quick succession must be completely and utterly devastating to all who knew and loved them both. May the peace of the Lord be with you, and bring you comfort in your time of mourning. God Bless.

I am so sorry for your loss and for Bill too. Ellen was such a beautiful woman whose smile lit up the room when she walked in. I remember her and Bill's wedding reception and they were so in love. She was quite the blushing bride. Your dad Bill and Ellen seemed made for each other! Again send everyone my love and know you are all in my prayers.((hugs))
Take Care

Mom, You will always be the matriarch and the parent you were meant to be. What hurt you can hurt you no more. Gene and I spent great years together with you and are honored to have had you live in our home and see you marry Bill. You got to do alot of fun things with Cicely and Bob your traveling companions. You met great people and shared your compassion and love with the less fortunate through Compassion International. You sponsored many children through this organization and so that they may of had a life. You loved all your dog and bird friends, especially Buddy your shitzu. Your love of the wild animal kingdom was all over your house in prints. You shared much with the World Wild Life fund for all of God's wild kingdom. Your favorite animal was the Panda. The Daughters of the Nile is where you meant many great friends, their traditions, and enjoyed all of the community activities for the poor and needy. You had great neighbors. Thanks for your unconditional love. As a believer you are "home" now with your maker and beloved children and friends who passed before you. You'll always be with us mom, everyday! I'll miss our phone conversations, your love and guidance. Gene will miss you as he found you when his mother had passed away and had the many benefits of a loving parent and friend. You were trully a classy lady and loved life. You loved family get togethers, cooking, and laughing. You were an incredible card player and friend to many. I have no regrets, love and great memories. Kisses mom. Love Ruthie and Gene
