Dear Stella.
We wereso sorry to read about Colby's death. We have fond memories of living on Prospect when we were all so young.
I will always remember that you considered Colby your best accessory when dressing up.
May God keep you close as you mourn your loss. The world will be less without him for sure.
Love, Kent and Melinda Hardage

Colby was my best friend, when I need help I could count on him whether laying under a jeep in the snow or cutting down a ltree at my mothers he would be there. He also had a keen sense when someone needed help he was ready to help or just listen as the situation needed. He also was a great orgaanizer and planner. He did many neat things for our hunting camp and got things there organized so we could find them. I will always remember his witty litttle sayings and abreviations such as CRS syndrom. He had a sly sense of humor that was always fun. Its going to be hard when I come to the springs and he won't be there to talk to. I shall greatly miss him.

I met Colby some 30 years ago when we both worked in the tech certer of Hewlet Packard.
We became good friends and enjoyed hunting togeather. all my boys have gone on hunts with us over the years.
Later Roberta and I started camping with him and Stella. We would combine it with scouting for elk, siteseeing, and antiqueing.
He will be greatly missed by our whole family.

Stella, Mike & Pat, I'm so thankful that when I started working at Partners In Housing, you both became SO involved - not so much for what you did for PIH (which was awesome), but for the opportunity to get to know your dad in a way I never had before. It is a gift that I will be eternally grateful for.

Colby was a gentle giant. He taught me many things while working with him at Hewlett-Packard in Colorado Springs from 1979-1992. He was a good man who was dedicated to his family.
