EMILIE JULIETTE (MORIN) FIEDLER
May 30, 1935 - July 14, 2018
Emilie Juliette (Morin) Fiedler, age 83, died peacefully at her home in Colorado Springs, Saturday, July 14, 2018. She is survived by her husband, George J. Fiedler Jr. of 65 years; son, George M. Fiedler (Kathy); daughters, Mariann Greenwood, Karen Otterbacher, Marlene Fiedler and Jane Jones. As well as 13 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Emilie was preceded in death by their daughter, Margaret Fiedler.
Mrs. Fiedler was born on May 30, 1935 in Roseville, Michigan, where she grew up with her parents, Michael and Juliette Morin, four sisters, and four brothers. They married on August 1, 1953 and continued to live in the Detroit area where they began raising their six children.
They moved their family to Colorado Springs, CO for business opportunities in June 1970. She was active in local theater as a costume seamstress, Our Lady of Perpetual Help church in Manitou Springs, and the Soup Kitchen with Catholic Charities. Her knitting hobby created blankets, hats and scarves for her family and friends, as well as the St. Joseph Native American School in South Dakota. Mr. and Mrs. Fiedler are currently members of Bethel Lutheran Church.

Funeral will be held at Bethel Lutheran Church, 4925 Farmingdale Dr., C/S, CO 80917 on Saturday, July 21st at 11:30 a.m.

Dear Beloved Fiedler Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Emilie was a wonderful woman and had a smile that would light up any room. I was blessed to have known her and her wonderful family. Emilie and George were kind enough to include me in many family celebrations. I want the family to know how special she was to me and I will miss her dearly. She will always hold a special place in my heart. Please know the entire family is in my thoughts and prayers. May your memories and the Lord help guide you through this difficult time.
