Emily Jane Dixon passed away at the age of 35 in her home town of Colorado Springs. Emily was born to Dr Stephen Dixon and Catherine Davis Dixon in Aurora, Colorado and was the second of four children.
Emily graduated from Liberty High School in 2005 and earned her bachelor's degree in Anthropology, minoring in Women's Gender Studies at UCCS.
She was employed with El Paso County Department of Human Services at the time of her passing where she worked with compassion and empathy for those she served; Emily truly had a generous and tender heart.
Above all things, Emily will be remembered as a devoted and loving mother. Her son Niko was her biggest source of joy.
Emily is survived by her 12-year-old son, Nikolae, her mother Catherine, and her siblings, Erin, Molly, and Will. Her father Stephen Dixon preceded her in death.
A rosary will be said for Emily at 1:00pm on Thursday 21 April, 2022 at St Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Church with a funeral mass at 2:00pm and a reception to follow.
