Emma Kendall Obituary

On February 17, 1937 Emiddio and Helen (Massaroni) DiTello gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Emma Louise in Portland, Colorado. Emma grew up and married the love of her life, Eugene Francis Kendall on June 28, 1965 in Florence, Colorado. To them a son was born and they named him Zefferino. They moved to Security in 1968 and became involved in the community through the Disabled American Veterans Post 26, The Retired and Enlisted Association, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3917 and Holy Family Catholic Church. Emma held local and state level offices with the DAV Ladies Auxiliary. Sadly, Gene passed away in 1992. Emma is survived by her son, Zefferino (Zeff) and his wife, Cynthia (Cindy); sister-in-law, Annette Webb of Columbia, SC; brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Mary Kendall of Orangeburg, NY; brother-in-laws, Bernard Kendall of Willets, CA, Don Kendall of Suson, CA, and Edward Kendall of Willets, CA; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; and many wonderful and special friends. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, a brother and a sister-in-law. Visitation will be Friday, December 14, 2007 from 4-7PM at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary, 6630 S. Hwy 85/87, Fountain. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2007 at 1PM at Holy Family Catholic Church, 331 Main Street. A private family burial will be held at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver.
