Emma Manzanares Obituary

Emma Solem Manzanares, 83, of Palmer Lake, went to be with the Lord, June 6, 2011. Emma was born and raised in Mora, New Mexico. She is survived by her children Patricio (Elizabeth), Anna, Kenneth (Chris), Jeannie, Joseph (Suzi), Dorothy, Lupe (Steve). She leaves 12 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren who all loved her dearly, as well as sisters Lucy, Katie and Raquel and brothers Jake and Leroy. Emma was preceded in death by her parents, husband Miguel, young son Vincent and seven brothers and sisters. She was a long time resident of Palmer Lake and proud to be a life member of St. Peter Catholic Church. Funeral mass, 11 am, Friday, June 10th at St. Peter Catholic Church in Monument with interment immediately following at Monument cemetery. Family will receive friends back at the church following the interment. Arrangements by Ellis Family Services, Littleton, Colorado.
