I was very saddened to read about Eric's passing at such a young age. I worked with him at UCCS and always enjoyed his sense of humor and easy-going personality. After reading all the guestbook entries it is obvious that he was a very special person who touched a lot of lives.

Eric, I enjoyed your easy going attitude and talking to you about your mean machine you were working on. You were so very proud of your family and shared photos and experiences with me all of the time. I will miss that and you will be missed as a team member that we could definitely count on. God bless.

I was looking at the paper Sunday paper (late as usual) and saw Eric's happy face. He graduated a year ahead of me at Widefield. I lost track of him, until one day I was plugging in my computer at CSU and he showed up in my desk. I was only an intern at utilities back in '97 but Eric would stop by now and again and make sure all was well with me. I am so sad to hear that he is gone and reading through the posts, it sounds like he had a touched a great deal of folks. As a wife and a mother of a daughter myself, I hope and pray that his family will be find comfort in knowing what a good guy Eric was.

It was a pleasure to have known and worked with Eric at Colorado Springs Utilities. The thing I remember most about Eric was his big smile; that beamed out even from under his bushy moustache. I'm glad I had a chance to be with Eric outside of work. We had a good time playing paintball together. Eric, we will miss you. - Jeff

I worked with Eric for two years at Utilities. He possessed a sharp mind only surpassed by his generous demeanor. He gave of his time selflessly to help me towards my goals and I learned a great deal from him. I wish I had told him what a sweet man I thought he was and how much I appreciated him. This is a regrettable loss for all of us who were blessed to know him. My prayers and condolences go out to Eric's family, whom he always spoke of with great warmth, pride and affection.

Although Eric and I were acquaintances throughout our life, we seemed to cross paths often. We graduated from high school together, we worked briefly at Digital at the same time, and I would just see him periodically around town. The last time I saw him was at Best Buy with his wife and daughter. I had just had my twins and I was so happy for him and his family because he looked so happy. I considered coming to the memorial, but since I was not close to him I decided I should leave that to his close family and friends. I will mourn his passing though and send my condolences to those close to him. He was a nice man and I am sorry to hear of his passing.

Eric,

When I think of you, I see you as; a happy man, a dedicated worker, a loving husband, father and son, a person that loved to play pranks, and who loved an old chevy. I believe you will always be these things to those that knew you and shared their life with you. I pray that you rest in peace.

Eric was a great man, I got to know him from my husband, Eric's best friend, Ray. I had never knew anybody that had as truely a wonderful marriage as Eric and Danielle. I am truly sorry that Eric had to go through the pain and suffering that he did. I helped in standing by his side and help him to try to get his mind off of his problems. Eric I promise that I will stand by my marriage through thick and thin and never give up. May God be with you. Rhonda
