Erica L. Torres, 84, of Colorado Springs, passed away May 9, 2023 peacefully at home surrounded by family. Erica was born in Augsburg, Germany, June 29, 1938. She married the love of her life, Adolfo Torres, a soldier serving in the US Army, in 1958. Erica retired from the Colorado Springs Police Department as a senior analyst.
She was preceded in death by her eldest daughter, Elizabeth Torres and survived by her son, Mario Torres (Lynette) and daughter, Lauren Cornell (Timothy); grandchildren, Erica Torres, Jessica Seanz, Nicole Lopez (Jacob), Jordan Thornburg, Claudia Patten (Franchi), Brendan Cornell and great-grandchildren, Colin, Easton, Emma, Emmett, Emilia, Austin and Penelope.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM at Evergreen Cemetery on May 31, 2023.
