Ernest "Gordon" Brown

Born on August 5, 1953 in North Carolina, Ernest Gordon Brown, "Gordon", lived a life filled with love and adventure. As an international businessman with an entrepreneurial spirit, he possessed boundless intellectual and philosophical curiosity and pursuit of knowledge. He maintained positivity and embodied resilience in the face of hardship. He was known for his wisdom, gift of oration, love of music, passion for travel, and his many talents that included professional percussionist, master chess player, and martial artist, 5th degree black belt. Gordon is preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Mable Brown and his brother Kenneth. Gordon is the proud father of his daughter Larla and son Collis, who reside in Texas. He is also survived by his sister Valeria and brother Marvin; his nieces and nephews, Roger, Vanessa, Khalill, N'Handi, Mahalia, Aria, Savannah, AKoya and Amethyst. Gordon is greatly missed by his family and friends.
A memorial service to celebrate Gordon's life and ascension will be held on Saturday October 21st from 12:30-3:00PM at location 1902 E. Boulder St, Colorado Springs, CO 80909, zoneFIVE. All who knew him are welcome to attend and pay their respects.

Gordon was my best friend during law school. Whether playing music together, playing chess, double-dating or just exchanging thoughts about life and its intricacies, we sure had a lot of fun together. I believe in heaven and I believe that heaven is more fun since Gordon got there.
