Ernest "Ernie" Richard Lawrence, 79, passed away April 17, 2023 in Colorado Springs.
Ernie was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma and moved to Colorado Springs in 2016 after retirement. He was a businessman and an author.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Dorothy Lawrence.
Ernie is survived by his beloved wife, Jan; children, Stacy (Marcus) LaiFook, Shannon (Roy Adkins), and Susan (John) Kelly; grandchildren, Mitchell, Marlo, and Mason LaiFook, Anna and Jess Kelly, Avery and Piper Adkins; siblings Debbie and Jack.
A funeral mass will be held 12:30 pm, Saturday May 6 at St. Gabriel the Archangel, 8755 Scarborough Dr, Colorado Springs.
