ERNEST J. STROCK SR.
April 27, 1924 - July 26, 2018
Ernest J. Strock Sr., 94, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away July 26, 2018.
He was born in Weston, Colorado on April 27, 1924 to Jose Strock and Emma Vigil Strock. Ernest was married to Alice Helm on September 5, 1943, together they had ten children.
Ernest worked at Sinton Dairies as a cheese maker for many years. He had a passion for helping others and volunteered at his local church. He also liked to dance.
He is survived by his daughters, Cindy Tafoya; Louella Strock; Mae Martinez; Marie Mingus; Susan Driscoll; Pamela Dacus and Judy Coleman. Sons, Eddie Strock and Ernie Strock Jr.
Ernest is preceded by his loving wife of 65 years, Alice Strock. Son, Richard Strock and grandson, Travis Strock.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Memorial Gardens Cemetery and Funeral Home, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs. Funeral services will be at Radiant Church, 4020 Maizeland Road, Colorado Springs, on August 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., graveside service at Memorial Gardens to follow.
