Ervin Lawrence Meacham, 88, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on May 30, 2023, peacefully in his sleep.
On February 20, 1955, Ervin married Lu Rita (Henry) in Colorado Springs and they would share nearly 60 years of marriage together. Ervin and Rita went on to have 3 children, daughters Lois (Dave) and Beverly (DJ), and son, Frank (Holly). Ervin and Rita enjoyed traveling together, especially on cruise ships with family and friends. They would return to Colorado Springs, Colorado as their home after living in Georgia, Texas, and Oklahoma.
Ervin was predeceased by Rita (2015) and his brothers, Eugene and Kermit. He is survived by his three children, six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at Swan-Law Funeral Home in Colorado Springs, Colorado on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. Ervin will be interred with Rita in St. Francis, Kansas at a later date.
