Esther Boyce Obituary

October 26, 1935 -August 27, 2008 Esther H. Boyce, age 72, resident of Colorado Springs since 1965 and formerly of Florida, passed away on August 27, 2008 at Memorial Hospital. She was known to her loving family as a domestic goddess who enjoyed traveling and looked forward to her frequent little trips to Cripple Creek. Esther Helen Nagy was born on October 26, 1935 in Jersey City, New Jersey to the late Joe and Esther Nagy. She was married on May 18, 1993 in Colorado Springs to George F. Boyce. George survives and lives in Colorado Springs. Mrs. Boyce is also survived by her sons: Clinton (wife, Julie) Sampson of Woodland Park, Colorado; Rory (wife, Loni) Sampson, also of Woodland Park; her stepsons: Keith (wife, Pat) Boyce of Princeton, Minnesota; her step-daughters: Denise (husband, Jon) Schimpf of Canon City, Colorado; Lisa (husband, Mitch) Powell of Fort Worth,Texas; and Tracey Boyce of Pine City, Minnesota; and her brother: Joe (wife, Carol) Nagy of Florida. She is also survived by her granddaughter; Saren (husband, Josh) Sampson of Colorado Springs and her step-granddaughter: Sara Schimpf of Sterling, Colorado; and great-grandchildren: Richard Bannister of Hondo,Texas; Kristopher Piper of Fort Worth,Texas; Nathan Boyce and Kayce Boyce; both of Princeton, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters: Marjorie and Kay. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at the Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel of Roses. Private inurnment will be at the Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum, Garden of Angels.A reception will follow the services at the family home.
