As a friend of her son, Steve, I often was able to visit with Esther at social functions. If Steve and his family were at the event, you could bet that Esther was somewhere. My wife and I always sought her out and visited. She was always classy, friendly, and her conversations were timely. I'm sure that she is greatly missed by all who knew her.

I worked across the hall from Esther at the hospital. I was in my early 20s and she was my best friend. We went to lunch together every day, and we were together the day that we heard that President Kennedy had been shot. I remember Steve as a young man, and Esther was such a good mom. Things have sure changed since those days.

I often think of Esther and her family. I worked with Esther at the Ft. Carson Dental Activity in the late 70's. She was fun-loving, very friendly and non-judgmental to this then-20-something-year-old. Esther was so easy to talk with, and I am so thankful I got to visit with her a couple years back. It brought back a lot of memories ... muah!
