Esther Ramirez Obituary

July 29, 1928-April 1, 2006. Esther Ramirez 77, departed this life April 1, 2006 at her home in Colorado Springs with family gathered around her bed to witness her earthly transition. Mrs. Ramirez was born July 29, 1928 in Pueblo, she was a homemaker who enjoyed doing for her grandchildren, and she was an excellent cook who enjoyed baking and making her mouth watering tortillas and Chile dishes. She also like dances and family outings. Survived by children: Judy (Gregorio) Gallegos, Linda (Jose) Gutierrez, Susan (Augustin) Barela, Margarito (Yolanda) Salazar, Fred(Renee) Salazar, George (Kim) Salazar, Phil (Connie) Garcia, Ben (Tina) Salazar; 19 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; siblings: Ruben (Angie) Alvarado, Florencio (Cuca) Alvarado, Jose (Violet) Alvarado, John (Lolita)Alvarado, Richard (Celia)Alvarado, Roberta (Martin) Medina, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Abram and Andrea (Vargas) Alvarado; granddaughter, Crystal Garcia; two husbands: Felix Ramirez and Margarito Salazar. Visitation Wednesday 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Angelus Chapel. Both services St. Leander Catholic Church. Rosary Vigil 7:00 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. Thursday Rev. Anthony Wojcinski, celebrant Interment Roselawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends at St. Leander Hall following burial rites.

Aunt Esther was a very loving and caring person!! We loved her very much and will miss her very much, but will always carry our wonderful memories of her with us forever! We will always have a special place for her in our hearts! We love you Auntie!!
