Esther Zeien Obituary

In honor of our beloved mother, Esther “Bonnie� Zeien, 86, who passed away on September 4, 2010 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born February 21, 1924 in San Francisco, California to Jacob and Bessie (Oduzuk) Josephson, who preceded her in death. Esther was the last surviving of their seven children. She was also preceded in death by a beloved grandson, Ethan Peterson. We four children love and cherish our wonderful mother beyond measure. Her life was her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Esther loved to read and write poetry. She passed her grace to all of us. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon “Randy� Jackson, Judy A. (Gary) Peterson, Bruce J. (Paula) Zeien, Brad (Mary) Zeien; eight grandchildren, Dennis, Kim, Jodie,Brian, Eric, Lisa, Tracy, and Nathan; and ten great-grandchildren, R.J., Talicia, Brandon, Megan, Ethan, Trevor, Jadyn, Lauren, Hudson and Gavin. In memory of Mom please make donations to Temple Shalom, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Private family services were held. Private family services were held. “We miss you so very much.�
