Ethel Nicholas Obituary

Ethel Laveryne Nicholas, 87, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2008 at Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loved ones at her side. She was born on March 27, 1921, in Barlow, Kentucky to the union of Murrell and Luceal Owsley Green. Both parents preceded her at death as well as her husband Andrew Nicholas. She leaves to cherish her memory: her children, daughters, Joyce Huery, Ruth Ann Lacour, Belenda Renee Napue; son, Essa Ray Watson, 17 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at Angelus Chapel, 2535 Airport Road. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at Angelus Chapel, 2535 Airport Road.

Grandma, not a day has gone by that I don't think about you. I miss you so very much. I will always rember you. I remember the time Anthony and I stayed wiyh you, and you whiped us, I just want to say because of that I think I am a better person today for it, and I Thank You for it. So grandma till we meet again please watch over me and my family and tell Ricky, Flip, and my dad I said I miss them and love them and one day we shell all meet again in the gates of heaven. You go on now and rest because the Lord has called you home so that you too may never suffer again. Don't worry about us we will all be ok. We all love you and want you to rest in piece.
