Ethyl Drury Obituary

Ethyl A. Drury, 78, of Colorado Springs, passed away July 3, 2005. She was born September 30, 1926 to Warren Rg and Stella (Webb) Cowell in Honolulu, Hawaii. Ethyl married Donald R. Drury on September of 1955 in Hawaii. Mrs. Drury worked as a fork lift operator. She moved here from Oregon in 1995 and was a member of the Springs City Church. Anyone who knew her was touched by her grace and joy. She is survived by a daughter Dawn (Bob) Gilkes and grandchildren; Don (Karrie) Gilkes, Shannon Gilkes and Christopher (Nicki) Gilkes as well as five great grandchildren; Jessica, Ayla, Kitty, Nevin and Savannah. Mrs. Drury is also survived by a sister; Dolores Smith. She is predeceased by parents, her husband, Donald in 1991 and two brothers, Eddie Cowell and Warren Cowell. Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 23, 2005 at Springs City Church, 1250 Vondelpark, Colorado Springs, CO. 80907.
