Eugene Daigle Obituary

Eugene "Gene" Daigle passed away quietly in his home on December 15, 2011, with his family present, after a year long battle with cancer. Gene resided in Woodland Park, CO for the past 30 years and he loved hiking, fishing, and busting new trails in the Colorado mountains. He was employed by Skyline Products in Colorado Springs and had previously worked at FrontRange Solutions, ITT, and Kaman Sciences. Gene is survived by: his wife of 26 years, Joy; his daughter, Lynn (son in law, Aaron); his sons, Tom and Jonathan; his father, Paul (step mother Evelyn); his brothers Steve and Mike; his grand-daughter, Dakota; and many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mare (Daigle) McFarland. A memorial service will be held at the Woodland Park Community Church at 2pm on January 7th, 2012. The family wishes to thank Dr. Matthew Young (PPRH) and Jolene of Prospect Home Care and Hospice for their excellent care and support. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Eugene Daigle Memorial Fund at ENT Federal Credit Union.

I was so sorry to hear about Gene's illness, then passing. What a nice man he was. I had the pleasure of working with, and for, Gene while he was at FRS. He will be missed. Daigle family, you are in my thoughts and prayers. May you find comfort from your memories.
