Evelyn Beasley Obituary

Evelyn Eckerson Beasley of Colorado Springs passed away on October 12, 2007 at Rose Hospital in Denver. Evelyn was born on December 10, 1920 in Palmer Lake, Colorado and lived in Colorado all her life. She is a graduate of Monument High School and Blair Business College. She was a member of the American Business Women's Association, Colorado Chapter of the Post Polio Association, the Order of the Eastern Star, and the United Methodist Church. She retired as head bookkeeper of the Central Colorado Bank, now 1st Bank. She is survived by a son, Jesse; two grandchildren, Leslie Vidal and David; two great grandchildren, Max and Charlie, all of Denver; and two sisters, Elizabeth Stepanek of Saratoga, California and Ida Williams of Florence, Oregon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete. Services will be held at Swan-Law Funeral Home, 501 N. Cascade Avenue, at 11:00 am on Thursday, October 18. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance, 910 17th Street, NW, Suite 1190, Washington, DC 20006.
