Evelyn A. Graski, 88, passed away Friday October 20, 2023 from complications of
cancer.
Evelyn was born August 5, 1935 in Anoka MN to John and Gertrude Ward. She is
survived by her husband Bill, daughter Patty Burke (Joe), son Mark Graski and
grandsons Andrew and Michael Burke, her sister Joanne Godfrey as well as many
nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son and siblings Mary, Bill, Ade,
Helen, Hannah, Betty, Jane, Forrest, Jimmy and David.
Evelyn married Bill Graski on December 28, 1957 and traveled around the world
as part of Bill's Air Force career. They settled in Colorado Springs in 1968 and raised their two children. Evelyn worked for Colorado College in the catering department and retired in 2000. She was involved in the church and volunteered many hours for the Pikes Peak Hospice. She loved traveling to see her family and especially enjoyed her time spent at Trout Haven with family and friends.
Funeral Mass will be held at Divine Redeemer Catholic Church on November 02, 2023 at 1100 A. M.
Rosary will precede the Mass at 1030 A. M. There will be reception after Mass at
the church. Interment will be at St. Mary's Cathedral Columbarium at a later time
that day.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a
charity that was close to Evelyn's heart.
