EVELYN HOOKER Obituary

Evelyn Ruth Hooker 9/10/52 - 5/16/12 Resident of Hercules Evelyn died peacefully in her home in Hercules with her family by her side. Evelyn is survived by her husband Ken, daughter Jenny Loos, son Eric Hooker, grandson Tyler Loos, sister Linda Nusbaum, and mother Inge Johnson. Evelyn spent most of her career as an echo sonographer and mentored and taught in this field as well. She was an active member at Temple Beth Hillel and served on the board and multiple committees. Evelyn was a Jazzercise enthusiast and delighted in attending classes for thirty years. Three years ago Evelyn was diagnosed with ALS. In spite of her physical difficulties, she remained positive and an inspiration to all. A memorial service will be held at 11:45AM on Friday May 18.
