I am sending condolences to David, Dan and Becky. I have many happy memories of childhood family picnics. Your mother was always kind and thoughtful to me and I remember fondly many visits with her, Aunt Nellie and Aunt Alice at the duplex in Colorado Springs. I wish you and your families well.
With love,

Our condolences to Dave, Dan and Becky . . .your mother was a very kind and wonderful person. I remember the family gathering at Uncle Wilfred and Aunt Nellie's picnic grounds on their beautiful ranch for a 4th of July celebration. Your Mother was always there with a kind word and always interested in how we were all doing. I got to know her better in her later years when she lived next to Aunt Alice and we would visit; she would share stories about growing up on the family ranch. Our thoughts are with you in her passing . . .Yvonne, Tom, July and Ryan Peru

Evelyn Layne was my Grandma. Her family was always of paramount importance to her. We spent lots of time together at the farm, at her home, and at the dinner table. I'll always remember the time I went to her house for dinner and she had prepared an entire platter of enchiladas and a whole separate tray of lasagna for us because she knew we liked them both. Rest in peace Grandma, I love you.
