Evelyn Smith Obituary

Evelyn A. Smith was born on Maui, Hawaii to Isabelo and Mary Macapulay who preceded her in death.

Jim and Evelyn were ministers in the Salvation Army and served for 13 years.

Evelyn was a prayer warrior who loved her family and Savior and will be missed by everyone she touched and loved.

She is survived by her 5 children: Donna Poorman (David), James Smith IV (Cindy), Jerry Smith (Terry), Jeffrey Smith (Donna), Jaelyn (Jon); 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren with one on the way.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jim of 59 years, and her brother Albert Macapulay.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 19th at 10:30 at The Salvation Army, 908 Yuma St., 80909. Reception to follow.

Memorial contributions can be made in lieu of flowers to The Salvation Army.
