Evelyn Taylor Obituary
A 55-year Colorado Springs resident, she was a domestic worker for many years. Her advocacy and community interests began when she was hired to work in the Head Start program and later with District 11 as a hall monitor and community liaison. Later, she was an in-home daycare provider.
Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her son Roger, great-grandson Scottie Combs, and her grandson Damon Weyrough.
She is survived by her son William, two daughters Roberta Murdock and Rochelle Taylor, ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at Angelus Chapel, Thursday, January 8th at 1:00 p.m.
