Felicisima Cornelio Eldridge
1926 - 2018
Felicisima Cornelio Eldridge, beloved wife and mother, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2018, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born in the Philippines, November 18, 1926 to the late Braulio and Adriana Cornelio.
Felicisima graduated from High School, and afterwards, she attended Fashion School. Throughout her life she pursued her passion for fashion and talent for sewing. She enjoyed sewing for family and friends as well as the public.
Family and friends were extremely important in her life. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Ernest, vacationing in Europe, Scandinavia, and The Mediterranean.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, devoted husband, Ernest Eldridge; loving daughter, Edna Espanol of Oakland, CA; and sister, Rosario Apostol of Princeton, New Jersey, as well as a host of wonderful nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will take place Friday, March 30, 2018, from 4:00-8:00pm., at Swan-Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave, Colorado Springs. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 10:00am., at Swan-Law Funeral Directors. A procession to Fairview Cemetery, Colorado Springs, will follow services.
A hosted lunch buffet will follow services at a nearby restaurant.
A special Mass is offered on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 10:00am., at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1830 S. Corona Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80905.

Mrs. Felicisima Eldridge (Manang Fely) was such a lovely woman. She was very special to me. My children and I have fond memories of her. I often think about the times we spent together, the amazing food she made for my family and me, and I will never forget the many times we had lunch together, or all the sewing she did for me and how she always insisted not to charge me. She and Mr. Eldridge were the only friends invited to my daughter's CC graduation.
I am so glad I had several opportunities to visit and chat with her at the nursing home. How I wish I had known much sooner that she was there. I had visited her that Sunday and whispered a few prayers in her ear. I didn't know she had passed away the following day until I returned the following Sunday to visit her again.
Requiem aeternam dona ei, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat ei. Requiescat in pace. Amen.
Eternal rest grant unto Felicisima Eldridge, O Lord, and let Perpetual Light shine upon her. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen

Dearest Manang Fely -
Thank you for the love and support you gave our family through the years. You were always proud of us when we did well, and you always encouraged us to work hard. Thank you for all the beautiful sewing you did for us, endlessly and tirelessly, with loving hands. Thank you for always welcoming us into your lovely, pristine, and inviting home, making us feel like family. We're so sorry most of us weren't around during your last days, to give you one last hug and "mano po." But you are in our thoughts, and most especially, in our prayers. We will miss you, Manang Fely. May our Lord and Blessed Mother be with you, now and always....and with your family.
