A smile a joke, a caring comment, a hug and always optimism. That was Fernando and his legacy. Even when he was so ill in the care home, he still had an optomistic attitude. We shall miss him and the specialness that was Fernando. He will long be with us, because we still have his precious Cora with us. They were a pair, in their personal, charitable and work life. Truly co-equals and co-partners. Thank you God, for allowing the honor of having Fernando in our lives.

Dear Cora and family,

It is with profound sadness that I recently learned of Fernando's passing. Time with our loved ones is never enough. When they are taken from us, it is something that is so difficult to understand and accept! Fernanco was my parents' and our cherished friend, a hard working and dedicated Stocktonian, and a true “gentle”man. The twinkle in his eyes and great sense of humor always brightened the day. My heart is heavy and I accompany all of you in your loss. Fernando and all of you remain in my prayers. May God Bless all of you. Please call me if there is any way that I can be of help.

Dear Cora & Family:

There are no words to truly express how sadened my family is with "Uncle Fernie's" death. Family reunions will never be the same without his witty humor. He will be sadly missed in many ways because he touched us all in different ways. May the many fond memories we have help us all through this trying time. May God's goodness help you at this time to lessen your sadness.

Dear Aunt Cora, Maggie & Family

It's really very hard at this time to express all the feelings that we are going through but we have so many fond memories of our Uncle Fernie who made each and every one of his nieces "HIS FAVORITE NIECE". I know you're having a really hard time right now, And no matter how hard I try, I can't think of anything that I can do that will help you feel better but I recognize your pain and I hurt for you. We care about you so much, and I just wanted you to know that you're not alone. . .
